Hit Magazine Review!
Hit Magazine (China’s biggest Western music magazine!) has reviewed my Chinese Greatest Hits CD, which is very nice of them. Apparently the review is complimentary but my Chinese skills are somewhat lacking, so if anyone is able to translate it then please email me on luke (at) lukeleighfield.com - thanks!
New stuff in the shop (plus Christmas cards and a discount code!)
Hi team. I just got back from China and I’ve added some new bits to the shop.
Firstly, and most importantly, I was able to bring a few copies of my Chinese Greatest Hits CD back to the UK! The CD is a 19-track behemoth featuring all my ‘hits’ and a few cheeky rarities. This would make the perfect Christmas gift for a cherished one, because 1) it’s the perfect introduction to my music, and 2) the cover is red and Christmas is all about red stuff. Obviously. But I couldn’t fit many in my suitcase so act fast if you want to get one!
Secondly, I had some t-shirts printed exclusively for China and I’ve added those that were left over to the shop. Design duties were handled by the ever-wonderful Matt Withers.
Finally, because I’m starting to feel festive…
- all orders from now until Christmas Eve will come with a Christmas card from me to you (or if your purchase is a gift, just write a note at checkout and I’ll address it to your cherished friend instead)!
- AND (from now until Christmas Eve) get 15% off all of my t-shirts if you enter the code ‘BRUCEWILLIS’ at checkout (because Bruce and the Die Hard films, after Jesus, embody Christmas for me)
What are you waiting for? Hit the shop!
Yours festively,
Luke
P.S. If for some reason you’ve never heard my 2006 Christmas single ‘I’m So Confused by Christmas’, you can download it for free on Bandcamp. It features sleigh bells, a ‘rap’ and two key changes.

China Greatest Hits
I leave for China tomorrow to begin a two-week tour out there (dates on Facebook).
BUT in more exciting news, I’m also going to be releasing a greatest hits album out there on Hotpot Music! And here’s the cover (not to be confused with my Japanese Greatest Hits CD released in 2009). The amazing artwork is courtesy of Secretly Swedish.
Don’t forget, if you want me to send you a postcard from China then you can order one here.
再见 / Goodbye
Auction for East Africa.
I’m auctioning a signed copy of my Japanese Greatest Hits CD, a Japan-only release from 2009, in order to raise money for the East Africa crisis. All proceeds go to Christian Aid. No one else outside of Japan has a copy of this CD except for my Mum!
