Have You Got Heart? - Official Chord Book

The official 16-page chord book accompaniment to my 2009 album Have You Got Heart? has arrived, featuring chords, lyrics and tempo guides for all ten songs on the album!

The chord book is suitable for pianists, guitarists, sitarists and ukeleleists alike, or just about any other instrumentalist that you can think of (probably).

The book also contains pointers explaining how some of the more complicated chords can be adapted for less confident players.

Nerdy details:

  • cover is printed on heavyweight textured cream card
  • inner pages are printed on brilliant white laid (textured) 100 gsm Conqueror paper
  • clear, easy to read layout, with black and red print
  • each book is designed, printed and hand numbered by yours truly!

I did a photoshoot with Steve Broadbank back in summer 2008 and used a couple of the resulting shots for a long time. However, Steve took loads more lovely photos that have never been seen before and I thought it’d be nice to put them on Flickr for your consumption. So here they are.

This is the debut EP from Jon Spanyol and it is called Good Things. Jon played trombone on my new album (very well, I hasten to add) but he can basically play any instrument, including some that haven’t even been invented yet. This EP features Jon playing piano and exercising his lady-killer voice. Musically, it’s a funky mix of latino piano, wailing guitar solos (Jon is clearly a man after my own heart) and one of the best synth solos of all time on the first track, ‘Don’t Make A Sound.’ Perhaps a mix of Maroon 5, John Mayer, Ben Folds and Scissor Sisters. Or perhaps not.
You’re going to download it right now because it’s free and you’d be mad not to. Click here.
